A simple way to learn

Choose it. Book it. Learn it.

01

Choose a class topic

Browse the catalog and select any topic for a private lesson. Keep its class title handy for the booking form.

02

Pick a real opening

Open the Acuity scheduler, select the private lesson, choose a displayed time, and enter the class title and learning goals.

03

Pay and get your confirmation

Complete secure checkout to finish booking. Acuity sends the appointment confirmation. Online joining instructions will be provided for your session.

Advance booking: private lessons require at least 4 hours' notice, subject to the calendar's published availability. Group class seats are offered at specific scheduled times, not as on-demand individual appointments. A parent or guardian must book for minors. Online meetings and any in-person venues must be appropriately arranged.
The library starts small

Today's live lessons, tomorrow's replays.

As classes are taught, the academy can publish separate recorded demos, worksheets and tutorials. We only offer replays when they actually exist. Parent and student privacy come first: live classes involving children are not recorded or made public without appropriate permissions.

Good questions

Before your first lesson

Can I choose any of the 178 topics?

Yes! Select a catalog topic and book a private lesson at an open time. Enter the exact catalog title in the required intake form so your instructor can prepare. Recorded lessons are added separately as they are created.

How do I know a time is available?

Choose an available time in our Acuity scheduling calendar. It displays open slots based on the instructor's published schedule and booking limits. Your appointment is booked after you successfully complete the booking process and payment.

Can children book themselves?

No. A parent or legal guardian must arrange and authorize classes for minors and be the primary contact and payer.

How do group classes work?

Group seats are offered only when a specific group lesson and time are published on the Acuity calendar. You can choose a private lesson for any catalog topic without waiting for a group session.

Can I book an in-person class?

Initially, please book online lessons only. In-person workshops require confirmed instructor availability, a suitable venue, and applicable safeguards before they are offered for booking.

Are monthly passes available?

Not yet. The group and private lesson passes and the video supporter membership are future offerings. Only appointment types visible in our Acuity scheduler can be purchased now.

Where do I receive confirmation and joining instructions?

Acuity sends booking confirmation to your contact email. For online lessons, joining instructions must be provided separately or included in the confirmed appointment details. Please check them before your scheduled class.
